Since we lost our statutory funding we have been totally dependent on fundraising and public donations to finance our work with patients and families. Many people take part in events both big and small to raise money for the Network.

Donating to the CJD Support Network

Probably the simplest way to donate to the Network is to use the Just Giving link below the menu on the left of the website or click here.

Alternatively you can post a cheque [ made payable to the CJD Support Network ] to our address, which can be found under Contact Us or by clicking here .

All donations will be acknowledged and are received with grateful thanks. If the donation is in memory of a loved one, please make this clear and your loved ones name will be added to our In Memorium page at the end of the year.

Fundraising

Fundraising events can be big or small. People have climed Everest for us and others have organised coffee mornings. Both are brilliant!

We are grateful for all offers to help raise funds for the Network and, if required, we can give advice and materials, such as T-shirts, collecting boxes and leaflets, for those who wish to organise events for the Network.

If you are considering taking part in, or organising a fundraising event, please contact the Network to discuss how best to organise your event.

There is also a Fundraising link on our Just Giving website

Thank you to all our Families and fundraisers.

We received over £25,000 from fundraising and in memorium donations in the last financial year. We are so very grateful to all the fundraisers who have run, swum, cycled, climbed, done parachute jumps, organised coffee mornings and much more to raise money for the Network, as well as families who have given donations in memory of loved ones.

Without this money the CJD Support Network would not survive and so in over 23 years of providing support to families and professionals, we would like to say a big THANK YOU  to everybody who has supported our work in this way. We would like to assure you that every penny will be used in our work supporting patients, families and carers affected by all types of CJD.
