The Big Give Christmas Challenge 2022

7-6-22

-

The CJD Support Network UK is delighted to be taking part in the ‘Big Give Christmas Challenge’, an annual match funding campaign which raises millions of pounds for good causes.

The Christmas Challenge 2022 will take place from Tuesday 29th November (midday) – Tuesday 6th December (midday) when donations to participating charities are doubled. The match funds come from pledges secured by the charity over the summer. The collective pot is used to double donations from online supporters when the campaign is live.

We would be extremely grateful for any suggestions of businesses who would consider making a pledge of any size to help us reach our £1,250 pledge target by the pledge deadline on 2nd September 2022.

How to make a pledge
To make a pledge, companies can click on the following link: www.thebiggive.org.uk/s/pledge?campaignId=a056900002MTxUuAAL

After making a pledge
As a huge thank you for supporting us, we will include businesses who make pledges in our newsletter incorporating: company name, bio (approx. 40 words), logo, website, number, social links. We will also send a social media announcement plan for use across all platforms so that businesses can share their generous involvement with followers. After the Christmas Challenge is complete we will also be sharing press releases and include all the companies who have donated.

What will happen to the pledge funds?
The CJD Support Network is completely donation funded and offers a helpline, in person meetings, caring grants and information sheets on all forms of CJD. All funds raised will be used to help us continue to build on and expand the work that we do connecting people affected by this isolating and devastating disease.

If this is something you feel your business, or a business you know of, could support us with this year, we would love to hear from you, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call 0800 774 7317.
